COVID19 PROTOCOLS
We take client safety seriously and ask that individuals who are physically ill please stay home. For more information regarding our COVID19 protocols please read below. Feel free to reach out with any questions you might have.
Please note that fever and symptom screening may not capture all infected individuals due to the range of clinical presentations associated with Covid, which include mild and asymptomatic infections.
These individuals, during the pre-symptomatic phase, may be able to transmit the virus while unaware that they are infected.
● All individuals who have had a known exposure to covid are encouraged to take an at home covid test or obtain testing from a healthcare facility. Head & Heart Therapy staff who have had a known exposure to covid, or are symptomatic, are required to take an at home covid test or obtain testing from a healthcare facility.
● Individuals are not permitted in the office if they test positive via a COVID-19 viral (nucleic acid or antigen) test or if they have a measured temperature 100.0° F or subjective fever.
● We ask that anyone who is waiting for COVID-19 results, please err on the side of caution and stay home. If clients/prospective clients are asymptomatic, please reach out to the office of Head & Heart Therapy to shift to a virtual appointment.
● After exposure to COVID19, if you test negative, 48 hours after your exposure it is okay to be in person and maskless at our office.
● If you get a positive COVID-19 test result, please contact out office to switch to a telehealth appointment, only until you test negative and even if you are showing no symptoms. With two sequential negative tests, 48 hours apart, you may remove your mask and return to the office.
● Face coverings or masks are optional for clients and prospective clients while in the building and the office. The office of Head & Heart Therapy has disposable masks available and you are welcome to ask your therapist to wear a mask.
● Head & Heart Therapy has hand sanitizer available in the lobby and in many of the therapist offices.
● All of our offices, including the lobby, have air purifiers. We do our best to ensure the filters are regularly changed.
● Please notify your therapist if you have specific healthcare requests.
